3. We come to you. Home, work, a parking lot, or the shoulder of the road.
4. We get you in without damage. Using entry tools and techniques appropriate to your specific vehicle's lock and window design.
5. We check if you need anything else. If your key situation caused the lockout (broken key, dead fob), we can address that in the same visit.

Most of this happens in a single trip. Because entry, key replacement, and fob programming all draw on the same on-site equipment, there's rarely a reason to schedule a second visit if the lockout turns out to have a bigger underlying cause — we can usually resolve everything while we're already there.

What affects your price

Weekday, business-hours lockouts within 15 miles of Genoa City are our baseline $95 job. Outside that window — nights, weekends, or a longer drive — the price reflects the extra time and distance involved, which we'll quote directly when you call rather than guess at over the phone. Mobile beats a tow

There's no dealer-based fix for a lockout — a locked car can't be towed into a service bay any more easily than it can be driven there, so towing companies and dealerships aren't really an option for entry alone. A tow to address a lockout typically runs $100–$200 on its own, and still doesn't get you inside the car; you'd still need a locksmith once it's at the shop. We come directly to wherever the car is and open it there, which is usually both faster and less expensive overall.

A do-it-yourself attempt with a coat hanger or a pried-open door gap can also turn a $95 problem into a much more expensive one — bent weatherstripping, a cracked window trim panel, or a damaged lock mechanism are common results, and those repairs cost more than the lockout call would have. Having the right tool for your specific vehicle's door and window design is the difference between getting back in cleanly and creating a second problem on top of the first.
